corduroy: onze klassieker 

Vandaag maken we Bīkon, Doshī en Hippī in verschillende stoffen. Toch noemen we de uitvoering in corduroy onze klassieker. Niet alleen omdat we daar ooit mee begonnen zijn maar vooral omdat het een gelukkige keuze was: op de ribbels van het corduroy blijft het gouden lamplicht Rembrandtesk treuzelen. Klassiek dus!

De verrukkelijke zachte corduroy van de Engelse wever Brisbane Moss is verkrijgbaar in vijf kleuren: kool, karton, goud, travertijn en redbird red.

Today we make Bīkon, Doshī and Hippī in different fabrics. Yet we call the corduroy version our classic. Not only because we once started with that, but mainly because it was a lucky choice: the golden lamplight Rembrandtesque continues to linger on the ridges of the corduroy. Classic! The delightfully soft corduroy from English weaver Brisbane Moss is available in five colours: charcoal, cardboard, gold, travertine and redbird red.

bīkon

Oorspronkelijk werd Bīkon ontworpen als tafellamp voor een restaurant: op tafel voelt hij zich thuis en brengt hij veel sfeer - een kaars is dan overbodig. Maar de kleine lamp is ook perfect om een donkere hoek op te lichten. Veel plaats neemt hij niet, hij past vast in de boekenkast en zeker op vensterbank of schoorsteenmantel. Kameraad Bīkon is ook een aangenaam zacht bedlampje of een maatje naast de laptop, gezellig, als je lang moet doorwerken.

Bīkon is helemaal gemaakt van stof, de voet is een stevig gevuld kussen. Als je wilt kun je deze kleine lamp een heel klein tikje scheef zetten, dat staat smaakvol informeel. Zoals alle lampen uit deze serie heeft ook Bīkon een snoerschakelaar. De snoeren zijn met speciale weefsels bekleed, passend bij de kleur van de lamp. Bīkon is 35x19x19 cm (hxbxd)

Originally Bīkon was designed as a table lamp for a restaurant: it feels at home on the table and creates a lot of atmosphere - making a candle unnecessary. But the small lamp is also perfect for lighting up dark corners. It does not take up much space, probably it will fits in the bookcase and certainly on a windowsill or mantelpiece. Bīkon is a pleasantly soft bedside lamp as well or a buddy next to the laptop, cozy if work never seems finished.

Bīkon is made entirely out of cloth. The base is a firmly filled cushion. If you want, you can tilt the lamp just a little bit, which looks tastefully informal. Bīkon is 35x19x19 cm (hxwxd)

doshī

Doshī is ontworpen als lamp voor naast de bank of bij het hoofdeinde van het bed. Hij is gemaakt om solistisch te schitteren. Paarsgewijs, dus links én rechts van bed of bank een lamp, is natuurlijk een echte klassieke opstelling. Doshī heeft precies de juiste hoogte, op het nachtkastje of bijzettafel staat hij goed. Fraai en zeker ook een beetje deftig oogt hij op een hoge consoletafel. Op een extra breed bureau of werktafel komt deze kameraad ook goed tot zijn recht.

Doshī was designed as a lamp next to the sofa or at the head of the bed. It is made to shine just solo. In pairs, so a lamp to the left and right of the bed or sofa, is of course a real classic arrangement. 

Doshī has just the right height, it looks good on a nightstand or side table. It looks beautiful and certainly a bit elegant on a high console table. On an extra wide desk or work table this lamp wil evoke admiration.

hippī

Hippī is ontworpen als een vloerlamp. De smalle hoge kap geeft de lamp een héél klein beetje een jaren zestig retro-twist. Kameraad Hippī komt ook goed tot z'n recht op een lage tafel-bank, zoals op de foto. En laatst zagen we hem op een dressoir staan, onverwachts maar erg mooi.

Hippī is helemaal gemaakt van stof, de voet is feitelijk een stevig gevuld kussen. Zoals alle lampen uit deze serie heeft ook Hippī een snoerschakelaar. De snoeren zijn met speciale weefsels bekleed, passend bij de kleur van de lamp. Net als Bīkon en Doshī heeft ook Hippī een energie zuinige led-lamp. Geen peertje zoals bij de andere maar een LED-buislamp. Hoe dan ook, gebruik altijd een LED-lamp in onze lampen, dan zijn ze absoluut veilig! Hippī is 93,5x32x32 cm (hxbxd)

Hippī is designed as a floor lamp. The narrow high shade gives the lamp a tiny bit of a sixties retro twist. Hippī also looks good on a low table-bench, as in the photo. And recently we saw him on a dresser, unexpected but very beautiful.

The cords are covered with special fabrics, matching the color of the lamp. Just like Bīkon and Doshī, Hippī also has an energy-efficient LED lamp. Not a bulb like the others, but an LED tube lamp.
